if you ever gtet a chance, have a look for her in the shop. she is a really cool singer, who mainly does dance music. really cool, if you have a chance to buy the album
Cascada is a good singer. I think she is originally from Germany, lives in England, and has a Mexican music name! Very cultured, eh?
Interesting. I've got her album, and I must say there isn't a bad track on it
I like her to though at first I did not.
Cascada is one of many hands up! artists. Hands up! is basicly euro dance, but with heavier basslines and most of the melodies coming from old happy hardcore and rave anthems.
If you like cascada, you may like many of the following: dht, groove coverage, liz kay[this one especially], milk inc, dj manian, yanu, central seven, mainfield, liquid spill, rob mayth, and many more. You should be able to find quite a few of these on whatever p2p you use. Dj manian and Yanu are working on the second cascada album. Two tracks from it have already been dropped in sets with rips of it floating around the net, heaven, a remake of dj sammie ft. yanu ft. du's smash hit from 2002, and because the night, a remake of a remake that Jan Juane did in 2002 or so as well. It's the new thing, remakes of remakes... At leas tin cascada's version of heaven, Yanu decided to keep the piano melody from the dj Sammie version, best part of the track, IMO.
I like all of Cascada's songs, though only the slow version of Truly Madly Deeply, and I means the singles.
I like Kascada's vertion of truly madly deeply way! better than Savage Garden. Yeah, that song has been done before, by [I'm ashamed to say], the most borring Australian group ever! I should kno, I met them in person. *frown*
yeah you guys cascada is a group, featuring yanou, but yeah. I love their stuff.
Uh, Because the Night? Not a remake of the Springsteen song, is it?
And a remake of Heaven will rule...As I think the original DJ Sammy/Yanu/Do version was Dance Music's peak in the US. When that was played often on commercial dance radio, that was it, that was, in my view, dance musics best year. It all went down hill the next year, so much so that I kind of got disalusioned to the genre, and still am to an extent.
And it is, though they're aming at the Smith version of Because the Night, not the Springsteen version, although it was originally penned by Springsteen.
Dan is she like Kylie Monogue?
I like, truly madly deeply, and every time we touch. Those are the only 2 I really know.
Earle
everytime we tuch, rules!!!
I like both versions of Every Time We Touch, but the slow one is my favourite.
Earle
the remake of heaven is not cascada, but the vocalist sounds very very similar to cascada. The single name is manian ft aila - heaven. It's out on zooland with a nice kicken hands up cascada remix. For all entence purposes it's a hands up! remake to the trance hit Heaven produced by Yanu.
Because the night is a remake of the dance hit by Jan Juane from 2002 or around then[I think it came out right before I was a trance/dance fan]. I believe that's a remake of that springstine or whatever track[not a fan so]. Hope this helps.
I just went to windowsmedia.com and typed in her name, and I found a song that I knew I had heard before, but was never really sure who sang it. i love her music. yet another item for my Christmas list. lol
i like every time we touch, but i hate the slow version, but that's the only song by her that i really like, the rest seemed a bit repeatitive, just my thoughts...
I've had the album for a while now, and I really enjoy it as well. I'm going to check out those other artists mentioned as well.
I like cascada's version of "truly madly deeply" much better than savage garden's. I think she's a great singer. does anyone know where I can find the slow version of "everytime we touch"?
Thank you, at least someone likes the cascada version better than the savage garden one besides me.
I found the slow version of "everytime we touch", and I also like it better than the dance one. I'm not into dance music, though.
love dance music, though I don't have that much of it
cascada is a really good singer I really like her song every time we touch
cascada's new single wasn't anything that was played before. They decided to do a remake of what hurts the most, which was recently big when rascal flats remade it in the states. I asume that's why they decided not to use because the night or what do you want from me. Cascada has a new album comming out sometime in early 2008, I believe it comes out in teh UK on december 7th? and then throughout europe first[North america got the first album first, so this one is oppisit]. thanks for the info i'll be on the lookout for there new album.
it's out online. The tracks I liked the most were runaway, perfect day, and what do you want from me. The rest aren't bad, but there nothing special IMO. The balad is nice. It could work very well as a hands up track. The album should be in stores on december 3rd[monday]
in the uk only, forgot to mention that. Regional copyrights for the loss.
i just got there album two months ago. it's great i like the version of what hurts the most better than rascal flatts.
Because the night...There's a surprise. I was expecting something totally sucky, and no you will never compare it to Bruce Springsteen, but it isn't half bad. My main problem is that it's kind of repetative without the bridge.
